Studio of graphic design and new media  

This studio was founded in 2005 and from the start it is conceived as a visual laboratory for innovators and leader personalities in the field of graphic design, visual communication and new media, who attach themselves to the following principles:  Craft is a precondition, experiment a condition and risk a necessity. 

The studio's aim is to form flexible designers, specialists who are acquainted with today's "new" technologies and are able to fill in the gap in today's professional labor market.

Studied at the Secondary Technical School in Brno (1982-86) and the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, studio of book design and lettering, professor Jan Solpera (1990-96). In 1997-2003, he run the Machek&Babák studio together with Tomáš Machek, since 2003 he has lead his own studio - the Laboratory, where he explores the wide space of graphic design together with several other external designers.  In 2005, he became the head of the new Studio of Graphic Design and New Media.  www.laboratory.cz

He graduated from the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design (Graphic design and visual communication, professor Zdeněk Ziegler, professor Rostislav Vaněk), graphic designer, member of LTC Oseček, projectionist, fan of SK Slavia Praha. Author of the graphic design of a number of presentations for the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague (Družstevní práce: Sutnar, Sudek; Japonský plakát dnes, Artěl...), Federico Díaz (Sakura, Fluid F1, Rezonance, Ultra...), Hypermarket Film (Český sen), Czech TV (new logo and visual style)...
