Under Article 11, Act No 111/1998 Coll.
(1) Members of the AAAD Arts Council shall be appointed and called off by the AAAD president.
(2) The AAAD Arts Council Members shall include significant representatives of the fields used by AAAD for educational, scientific, research and development purposes or other creative activities. At least one third of the members shall consist of other people than members of the AAAD academia.
(3) The position of the Arts Council chairman shall be held by the AAAD president.
Under Article 12, Act No 111/1998 Coll.
(1) The AAAD Arts Council shall
- discuss long-term intentions of AAAD,
- approve study programs,
- exercise the authority in the professor appointment procedure and habilitation process in accordance with the above said Act.
(2) The AAAD Arts Council shall provide responses to the questions raised by the AAAD president.
