This type of studies is based on the informal cooperation of AAAD with universities worldwide (see the section Partner Schools). Students can exchange their positions in studios and sometimes also their accommodation. There is no tuition fee, however, students have to cover their subsistence and other expenses. AAAD is a public institution of higher education and no tuition fees are paid for degree programmes. It is supposed that if the foreign hosting institution requires tuition fees, these are continued to be paid by its outgoing student. The exchange students keep the status of a regular student at their home schools.
AAAD does not require a written contract on the student exchange, the Letter of Acceptance is considered a sufficient document. Our Ministry of Education supports financially our outgoing students, we are, however, not able to support incoming students from abroad.
